ALBUM PREFACE
Due to the lack of free time, it takes me years to create a new record. The reason for this is mostly my work ethic. When an idea becomes developed enough, I do a one-take recording after a practicing period. In case of most songs, we record the video as well at the same time. The first songs for this album were written in 2017. The basics of the first 3 compositions were worked out together with my friend Ádám Miski, and I wrote the rest myself. In the beginning, my goal was simply to create an instrumental-fusion music album that combines electronic effects. I have to point out at the very beginning that this is not a continuation of the previous “Wondrous Stag” album. It is quite different in terms of the message and the musical style.
In recent years, I have collected improvisational ideas inspired by the programmed rhythms of modern electronic music. I made the rhythmic foundations of these songs using some of these ideas.
What the “scary” Global Warning title means is the other side of the concept. Visuals are made for the concerts, most of them contain a series of images that consciously covers a particular topic. I have only highlighted a few topics of the many current ones. Commonalities that almost all people know and experience. Phenomena against which humanity is powerless for the time being.
Since I am neither a sage nor a scientist or a climatic guru on any of the topics involved, I just collected some of the observations and I would like to release them from my mind onto this album. In the booklet, I tried to refer to these without scientific over-twisting. On the one hand, it is useful for me too, because - even superficially - I immersed myself in the study of certain phenomena seen today and I have put my views of the world to the right place. As I get older, I feel it’s more and more important not to make my records just because I like to play drums and write music. Instrumental underground genres don’t have too many fans basically and I don’t think that the G.W. record will stand out on the sales charts, but I feel a sense of duty to have a specific message encoded in these songs as well, which may find more understanding ears than the music itself. In my opinion, one of the tasks of artists like authors, actors, and musicians is to facilitate the action in any era where change can be an important key to human survival.
Thanks to all the contributors, guest musicians, and all the guys who were responsible for the audio and video parts of the album. I am especially grateful to Tamás Tóth, who recently passed away, who made the first video clips. (O.Z. 01-09-2021)

We recorded the song entitled “Travelin’” in 2021. In this electronic-sounding prog song, I was fortunate enough to play in an ecstatic lineup; Marius Pop (on the guitar), Anthony Crawford (on the bass). Even though the three of us previously released the song “Ghost Notes,” now we have a special guest, Derek Sherinian, the well-known, former keyboarder of the band Dream Theater who is also acclaimed for his solo projects and other sessions with Planet X, Alice Cooper, Joe Bonamassa, KISS, etc. I really love the style of these guys who are deservedly iconic figures of the modern prog music scene.

TRAVELIN’
If the activities that cause the highest emissions of greenhouse gases were to be listed, the heat production industry and electricity production would be at the top of the pyramid list. And below it is the transport & traffic by land, air and water.
In modern civilization at the peak of industrial and technical development, the only environmentally friendly vehicle is the bicycle with sprocket wheels. That has existed since the 1880s.
The elimination of harmful substances from transport and the significant reduction of emissions in a way that can be easily adapted globally are tasks yet to be solved. Perhaps one of the first steps would be to power vehicles using renewable energy sources. And with that, we also referred back to the first sentence.
